The AC1224-360 has a ~3.6 m × ~3.6 m cross-section, and gives you 50% extra height compared to the AC1224-240. That additional clearance matters when testing large dish antennas or phased-array panels, and a sufficient number of wavelengths is needed between the DUT and the chamber boundaries.

~360 × 240 cm (12 × 8 ft) walk-in anechoic chamber
The AC1224-360/300 is a version of the standard AC1224-360, but with a slightly lowered height. At 360 cm wide and 300 cm high, it offers the additional floor space and wall separation of the AC1224-360, but still fits when you just don’t have the ceiling height for a full 360 × 360 cross-section. The result is a wider work area with a compact vertical profile – the best of two worlds.AC1224-360/240

The AC1224-360/240 is one step even lower: At 360 cm width and 240 cm height, it gives you the additional floor space and wall separation of the AC1224-360 but with the height of the AC1224-240.
This combination makes it suitable for office spaces while still providing sufficient width for wide-area spatial Radar Cross Section (RCS) measurements.
LIGHT BY DESIGN
Fits where other chambers will not
As with the other AC1224 chambers, the AC1224-360 family is designed to go where traditional chambers cannot. The all-aluminum frame and lightweight panels produce a low floor load, which makes it suitable for lofts, raised data-center floors, and older buildings that would never support a welded-steel chamber. Panels are installed from the inside, and the installation process requires only limited clearance from the walls and the ceiling.AC1224-360 CHAMBERS – KEY ADVANTAGES
Wide by design
The wide cross-section gives you additional lateral clearance between the DUT/AUT and the absorber-lined walls. Wider is better, especially for RCS measurements, repositionable targets, and generally better wave-to-wall incident angles.
Built-in flexibility
Smaller modifications are rarely a problem for us. Need a cutout for a vent port, a mounting point for a camera or CCTV, or a concrete-floor-anchored pedestal? We can usually accommodate requests like these without moving to a full custom project.
Common parts cut cost
The AC1224-360 chambers reuse proven modules from across the AC1224 family. No new tooling, no one-off parts.
Lead times remain short, replacement parts remain interchangeable, and cost stays well below a fully custom design.
ROOM TO PUSH THE LIMITS
More width, deeper range
AC1224-360 has a larger cross-section that accommodates bigger devices. It also improves absorber incident angles, which means that the larger chamber supports deeper/longer chamber configurations than the AC1224-240 before wall reflections become a concern. If your application calls for longer test distances, whether for far-field measurements or to keep the DUT/AUT well separated from the absorber tips, the AC1224-360 provides the extra headroom.

Translational target stages
A wider floor also unlocks a capability that the AC1224-240 cannot easily support: Translation stages to position targets. The chamber width is a substantial increase in usable work envelope for RCS-based target classification, scattering-center modeling, and synthetic-aperture measurements.
We have developed a reference absorber-clad (low-reflectivity) X-Y-Z translation-stage system that covers an envelope of ~3 m width × ~4.5 m depth, tailored for AC1224-360 installation. TURNKEY NF-FF
Near-field scanning solution
We offer a complete near-field-to-far-field (NF-FF) test solution built around the AC1224-360-4 and our UNO6-GM positioner, with the full software suite developed by our brilliant US-based partners Invictus Animus.
The system uses Copper Mountain Technologies’ COBALT series signal chain and a purpose-built NF-FF software suite for microwave and millimeter-wave antenna design specialists, or universities adding NF-FF to their curriculum.
It enables near-field scanning of large phased-array antennas, and is targeted for X-band, Ku-band, and lower K-band applications.

YOUR TEAM CAN BUILD THIS
Simple assembly
The AC1224-360 assembly requires only hand tools, no cranes, and no contractors. Every panel and beam can be carried by two people. The AC1224-360 uses pairs of 180 cm panels, which keep the per-piece weight manageable. The heaviest panel stays within two-person handling. Having your own team involved in the installation process is our preferred approach, because a chamber your team has assembled is one your team can expand, reconfigure, or relocate on your own schedule without relying on expensive specialists. It also keeps costs down: self-assembly is a straightforward way to reduce the total investment. Expandable and reconfigurable
Can you expand or reduce your AC1224-360 chamber size? Of course.
Like every other chamber in the AC1224 family, the AC1224-360, AC1224-360/300 and AC1224-360/240 are built from door, center, and end modules. Adding a center module extends the range in ~120 cm increments. If you want access from both ends of the chamber, you can replace the end module with a door module and thereby have two openings.
A lab that starts with a compact configuration and later needs more measurement depth simply orders additional modules. The original investment carries forward.

AC1224-360 Configurations
As our other walk-in chambers, each AC1224-360 chamber is built from door, center, and end modules. You can have door modules in one or both ends for better access, and the depth is determined by the number of center modules you choose.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
AC1224-360 assembly
The chamber comes with complete assembly instructions. To build an AC1224-240 (any length) chamber three people are required, four are preferred when raising the aluminum frames. Hand tools and equipment included in the shipment: Allen/Unbraco bits size 4 mm and 5 mm, adjustable wrench, bit extender 150 mm, carpenter’s square, drywall hoist with correct height for ceiling panel placement. Extra hand tools required: Electric drill, laser level, inclinometer (if we are leading the assembly we will bring the extra required hand tools). Extra equipment required: Tall ladder to reach over the chamber (top-step around 3 meter).BUILT-IN FLEXIBILITY

All AC1224 chambers are designed and built by mmWave Test Solutions. Production runs in-house or through qualified suppliers, but design authority and manufacturing control always stay with us.
That matters when you need something slightly outside the standard. Cutouts for vent ports, mounting points for cameras or CCTV, concrete-floor-anchored pedestals: smaller modifications like these we can usually accommodate without moving to a full custom project.
